Member FirmsFirms whose principals furnish independent consulting engineering or land surveying services and have established offices in the State of Washington for the practice of consulting engineering or land surveying services either as (a) Sole proprietorships, (b) Partnerships or (c) Corporations.
Corporations must be registered as an Engineering Corporation with the State of Washington Board of Registration. Partnerships and Sole Proprietorships must have one or more principals registered or licensed professionally in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington.
Associate Member FirmsProvide professional services of a scientific and technical nature that are complementary to the services provided by Member Firms. They must not be eligible to be Member Firms or supply goods or services that are specified by or used in the operation of Member Firms. Membership in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is not required until such time as ACEC institutes a comparable membership class.
Affiliate Member FirmsProvide professional consulting services that support the business operations of Member Firms, such as Management and Marketing Consultants, Attorneys, Accountants and Professional Liability Insurance Agents. Those that supply goods or non-professional services will not be eligible. Membership in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is not required until such time as ACEC institutes a comparable membership class.
