ACEC Washington has numerous conferences and social gatherings throughout the year. From the special Engineering Excellence Awards, to the ACEC Golf Tournament, to Spring and Fall Membership Conferences, there is something for all members. An excellent opportunity to meet peers in your field and to share ideas on business issues facing firms today.

Spring Conference

The 2012 Spring Conference will be held at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, WA on May 17-19.

Fall Conference

The 2012 Fall Conference will be held at the Sunriver Resort in Bend, OR on September 13-16. It will be a joint conference with ACEC of Oregon.

Social Events

ACEC Washington hosts an annual Golf Tournament to help support the ACEC/PAC and our legislative efforts. The tournament is held in the latter half of August.

In December, ACEC Washington hosts the Holiday Social at Benaroya Hall, indulging in the Seattle Symphony's winter music.

Other ACEC Programs

Business Practice Breakfast: 90 minute meetings delivered by an industry expert with an eye on the consulting industry. The BPS Series tackles relevant business issues, and is usually held the first Wednesday of the month.

Multi-Day Events: Annual Project Management Bootcamps and other multi-day seminars add essential tools to consultants, aimed at improving performance and delivering invaluable projects to clients.

Industry Meetings: Being connected with clients and agencies that affect the engineering business is critical. ACEC Washington offers annual meetings with WSDOT, SAME, and others, discussing the future initiatives coming for Washington.

Core Competencies for Principals is ACEC's flagship program, designed to provide aspiring or established principals the broad foundation of business tools and knowledge necessary to fulfill the position of firm principal. The CCP program is for anyone looking to capitalize on affordable business training geared specifically for the engineering industry.
