ACEC Industry Meetings
Being connected with clients and agencies that affect the engineering business is critical. ACEC Washington offers annual meetings with WSDOT, SAME, and others, discussing the future initiatives coming for our member firms.
In addition, ACEC Washington will provide speaker notes/presentations in electronic format on the webpage or through the Impact blog, when possible.
SMPS Joint Meeting
ACEC Washington and the Society of Marketing Professional Services combine to provide a seminar that are aimed at improving business effectiveness within marketing professional services to clients.
DBIA Joint Meeting
ACEC Washington and Design-Build Institute of America join together to present new methods of integrating D/B into projects.
This year's meeting is How to Go International, and will be held on April 23, 2013 at the Coast Bellevue Hotel. You can register here for the event.
SAME "Meet the Chiefs"
ACEC Washington and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) present the upcoming needs for the military districts around the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Army Corps of Engineers and district leaders provide the future needs and notifies attendees of shifts in priorities for upcoming projects.
The ACEC/SAME meeting is held annually in mid-June in Bellevue. The 2013 meeting is June 18. Details will be announced as they come available. Registration will be open in April.
WSDOT Meeting
ACEC Washington and Washington State Department of Transportation offer a meeting for ACEC Members to discuss the current and future needs of the transportation infrastructure.
The 2013 ACEC/WSDOT meeting is tentatively scheduled in June. We attempt to coordinate the meeting to allow the WSDOT Secretary and staff to attend, as well as elected officials of the legislature's Transportation Committee.
