The ACEC Political Action Committee
ACEC’s Political Action Committee - ACEC/PAC - is the largest PAC in the engineering and design services industry, and is the engineering industry's primary tool for political engagement at the national level.
It is critical that the engineering industry be involved in the business of politics, and the ACEC PAC is the industry’s preeminent vehicle for political engagement. Governmental decisions on the issues that affect the engineering industry can have a decided impact on your business and the future success of our industry. It is critical we help to elect policy-makers who understand our concerns and who will be open-minded to our views, and advocate on behalf of the engineering industry to elected leaders.
To help fund the efforts of ACEC in Washington, D.C., as well as locally here in Washington State, please consider contributing to ACEC PAC, which funds advocating the interest of the consulting engineering business in D.C. The Washington State contribution to the PAC has repeatedly been one of the top contributions among ACEC Member Organizations, and a significant amount of that funding is returned to ACEC-WA for state-wide advocacy efforts. Thank you to our politically involved leaders and the fantastic efforts of our members for supporting this important endeavor.

| Contribute to the ACEC/PAC through the annual Sweepstakes drawing held during the ACEC Fall Conference. Tickets are $200, and cash prizes are in the amounts of $1000, $5000, and $10,000. ACEC Washington hosts an annual golf tournament where players can purchase mulligans and string for use during the round. Proceeds from mulligans and string go towards the ACEC PAC. Other fundraising opportunities will happen throughout the year at the Spring Conference and member-hosted events. |

Fundraising Events
ACEC Washington, and its members, have provided annual fundraising events to support the ACEC PAC, in addition to direct contributions from members. Here is a short list of events held in the past:
- Spring Conference Silent Auction : Members contribute items for auction and conference attendees engaging in some competitive, but highly entertaining bidding for items. The Silent Auction has been a major fundraiser for achieving ACEC Washington's yearly contribution goal.
- ACEC Washington Golf Tournament : Traditionally held during Washington's beautiful summer, this tournament is a great way to reward employees and spend time with clients. Mulligan purchases are ACEC PAC contributions.
- Member-Led Fundraisers: Our generous members have graciously hosted PAC fundraisers at their own homes. Past events have included barbecues and wine tasting nights.
