ACEC Washington offers three membership categories designed to serve firms that support the engineering industry. Whether you're a consulting engineering firm, a technical consultant, or a professional service provider, there's a membership option that's right for your business.

Member Firms are independent consulting engineering or land surveying firms with established offices in Washington State.

Associate Member Firm
Who Qualifies?

Associate Member Firms provide professional scientific or technical services that complement consulting engineering firms but are not eligible to become Member Firms.
Affiliate Member Firm
Who Qualifies?

Affiliate Member Firms provide professional consulting services that support the business operations of Member Firms.
  • Provide independent consulting engineering or land surveying services.
  • Be organized as a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation.
  • Meet the licensing requirements established by the Washington State Board of Registration.
  • Engineering corporations must be registered with the Washington State Board of Registration.

New Member Firms

New firms joining as either a Member or Associate Member firm receive 33% off their first year of membership.

SBA-Qualified Small Businesses

Eligible SBA-qualified firms receive:

  • 50% off Year One
  • 33% off Year Two

This introductory structure provides time to build relationships, participate in programs, and experience the value of membership.

Affiliate Member Firms are not eligible for introductory membership discounts.
