Committee Purpose

The Business Practices Committee serves as ACEC Washington's resource for identifying the business challenges, emerging trends, and educational needs facing engineering firms across the state.

The committee provides insight into the issues that matter most to member firms and helps shape ACEC Washington's professional development offerings, ensuring our educational programs remain timely, practical, and relevant to today's business environment.

Through collaboration with industry professionals, the committee helps develop topics for webinars, conferences, workshops, the nine-month CCP (Comprehensive Career Program) Seminar, and other educational initiatives that support the growth and success of engineering firms.

  • Recommend timely and relevant educational topics for ACEC Washington programs
  • Help shape the content for webinars, conferences, workshops, and the CCP Seminar

  • Recommend subject matter experts and potential speakers for educational programs
